We were once faithful churchgoers, deeply committed to our walk with Christ. But over time, harsh judgment and criticism from fellow believers left us wounded. The pain cut deep, so much so that we stepped away. Away from church. Away from organized religion. And, for a season, away from peace.
During this time of heartache, our child chose to go no contact to find their own way in life. That loss was almost unbearable. We found ourselves in a place of deep sorrow, searching for a way to mend not only our broken hearts, but our broken spirits.
In seeking healing, we returned to something that had always brought my wife quiet joy: coloring. Together with our youngest daughter, we began creating and coloring simple, gentle images of Jesus. Page by page, we felt His presence return to our home, not in loud declarations, but in quiet love. A steady, healing love that softened the pain we’d been carrying for far too long.
Through this creative time with Christ at the center, we found comfort. We found a connection. And, slowly, we began to find peace.
Now, we share these Christ-centered coloring pages with others in the hope that, wherever you are on your journey, you, too, will feel His tender love. May these pages help you find rest for your soul, joy in your spirit, and a renewed closeness with the Savior who never stops reaching for you.
